At the time of Griffith's Valuation, this property was occupied by Captain P.C. Lamphiere, leasing from the Fitzgerald estate. It was valued at £17 at the time. It is labelled Glenville Cottage on the 25-inch Ordnance Survey Map of the 1890s but as Cove Cottage on the 1940s edition. A house is still extant at the site.
