Description: | In 1778and 1786, this house was the residence of the Blake family. Moorfield was a steward's house on the Eyre estate at the time of Griffith's Valuation. In April 1869 the Eyre's Moorfield estate, including the house, was offered for sale in the Landed Estates court. In 1906 it was owned by James Howard Jnr and was valued at £28.
