Description: | William Scully, fourth son of Roger Scully of Kilfeacle and Dualla, county Tipperary, was living at Dually in the late 18th century. John Scully was resident at Dually in 1837. In 1811 John had married Catherine Moore sister of the poet Thomas Moore. Roger Scully was the occupier in the early 1850s. He held the property from Oliver Latham and the buildings were valued at £24.14 shillings. This house is now run as a Bed and Breakfast guesthouse by the Power family. http://www.duallahouse.com/ |
